In boardrooms around the world, leaders are being forced to confront a tough truth: old leadership models don’t work in today’s volatile, complex world. Hierarchies are breaking down. Employee disengagement is rising. Sustainability can’t be just a CSR line item anymore. Amid this systemic shake-up, a quiet revolution is unfolding—one led not by a corporate giant, but by a thinker, reformer, and leadership philosopher based in Switzerland.

David Fiorucci, Founder & CEO of LP3 AG, is on a mission to rewrite the rules of leadership—making it emotionally intelligent, structurally coherent, and radically human.

Built on the principles of LEADER, TEAM, and PARTNER, the LP3 model has already transformed over 35,000 professionals, empowering organizations to create clarity, momentum, and meaningful results—while advancing the larger goal of a sustainable economy. With a framework rooted in real-world application and academic rigor, he’s helping leaders across continents transform not just how they lead, but why they lead.

Eager to explore the force behind this leadership movement, we sat down with David to understand the origins of LP3, the impact it’s creating, and why now is the time to rewire leadership for good.

David Fiorucci , what inspired you to found LP3 Ltd back in 2016? What gap in leadership development or organizational transformation were you aiming to address?

My journey to founding LP3 Ltd in 2016 was fueled by a profound realization that leadership needed a new paradigm—one that was both structured and flexible, enabling organizations to navigate complexity while empowering individuals. After decades of leadership experience across industries and earning accolades like the Chris Argyris Prize for self-reflection, I saw a critical gap in leadership training. Too many frameworks were overly theoretical, lacking real-world applicability.

LP3 Ltd was born to address this gap by providing a leadership model that is simple, coherent, and emotionally engaging. Unlike traditional consulting models, I insisted on validating every approach through real-world application, ensuring that the LP3 philosophy would translate into tangible impact for leaders and organizations alike.

The LP3 model has its roots in over 27 years of leadership experience and academic recognition. How did your MODCH Master thesis evolve into a practical leadership framework adopted by companies today? What sets the LP3 approach apart from other leadership models out there?

My MODCH Master thesis was a pivotal moment, allowing me to synthesize my leadership philosophy into a structured framework. Over time, it evolved into LP3—built on three core principles: Leader, Team, and Partner. Unlike many leadership models that focus solely on the individual, LP3 is holistic, considering leadership as a dynamic interaction between different stakeholders within an organization.

What makes LP3 Ltd distinct is its foundation in simplicity, coherence, and emotional engagement. By distilling leadership into clear, actionable principles, it fosters a shared understanding across organizations. The model has been refined through feedback from over 35,000 individuals, ensuring its relevance across different cultural and corporate contexts.

A core mission of LP3 Ltd is to make the world more comprehensible and the economy more sustainable. How does LP3 Ltd translate this vision into tangible action for the clients you work with? Could you share a real-world example?

At LP3 Ltd, we believe that leadership should not only drive performance but also contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive economy. This philosophy translates into practical action through structured leadership training, cultural transformation programs, and tools that enhance organizational effectiveness.

A prime example is the implementation of our OCTO-Check, a maturity assessment tool based on the eight stages of Octocracy. This tool enables organizations to assess their leadership maturity and identify key areas for growth, ensuring that sustainability is embedded in their leadership practices.

You describe LP3 Ltd as a “neuronal organization.” What does this mean, and how does it differentiate your company from traditional consulting firms?

The concept of a “neuronal organization” stems from the idea that organizations should function more like adaptive neural networks rather than rigid hierarchies. Traditional firms often impose top-down solutions, whereas LP3 Ltd operates with agility, emphasizing decentralized leadership while maintaining strategic coherence.

This approach is evident in our Octocracy model, which, inspired by the octopus, distributes decision-making across autonomous teams while maintaining a unifying vision. This enables organizations to respond to change swiftly without sacrificing alignment

Your LP3 LEADER, TEAM, and PARTNER models form a holistic framework. Could you walk us through how these three approaches come together to drive transformation at both an individual and organizational level?

The LP3 framework is built around three essential dimensions:

  • LEADER: Focuses on the individual’s capacity to create momentum, develop vision, and inspire teams.
  • TEAM: Addresses collaboration, ensuring that teams function cohesively through trust and shared purpose.
  • PARTNER: Reinforces the external ecosystem by fostering meaningful, strategic collaborations.

These three components create a unified system where leadership is not just an individual trait but a collective force that transforms organizations.

What does a “sustainable economy” mean to you, and how is LP3 Ltd actively contributing to this vision?

A sustainable economy is one where businesses create long-term value without depleting social, environmental, or financial resources. LP3 Ltd contributes to this vision by developing leadership models that encourage responsible decision-making, psychological safety, and ethical collaboration.

Through initiatives like the LP3 Quickscan and OCTO-Check, we help organizations align leadership practices with sustainability goals, ensuring that they remain competitive while making a positive societal impact.

What role do you believe leadership plays in driving the transition to a more sustainable economy, and how is LP3 Ltd leading by example?

Leadership is the catalyst for any meaningful transition. The shift to a sustainable economy requires leaders who can balance financial performance with social and environmental responsibility. At LP3 Ltd, we embed these principles into our training and consulting, ensuring that leaders cultivate organizations that prioritize purpose alongside profit.

By living the values, we promote—simplicity, coherence, and empowerment—we ensure that our work doesn’t just impact businesses but also contributes to broader economic transformation.

You’ve often described leadership as “the capacity to create momentum.” How does LP3 Ltd help leaders mobilize teams around a common vision—especially during times of uncertainty and organizational transformation

Creating momentum in leadership is about building clarity, trust, and emotional engagement. LP3 Ltd achieves this through structured methodologies that simplify leadership concepts, making them accessible and actionable.

During times of uncertainty, leaders trained in the LP3 Ltd approach focus on transparent communication, psychological safety, and adaptability—ensuring that teams remain engaged and aligned even in challenging circumstances.

Looking ahead, what is your vision for LP3 Ltd’s role in shaping the future of leadership and sustainability in the global economy?

The future of leadership lies in adaptability, inclusivity, and sustainability. LP3 Ltd is committed to expanding globally, establishing LP3-OCTOCRACY hubs in Asia, North Africa, the USA, and Canada to train leaders who can drive systemic change.

Additionally, I am developing the Cloister of Suspended Time—a sanctuary designed to elevate leadership impact to the next level. This is not a religious retreat but an immersive space where individuals spend 7 to 8 days working on three transformational projects: one for themselves as individuals, one for their family, and one for society. The focus is not on developing projects for their companies, but rather on fostering personal and collective well-being to contribute to a better world. By guiding participants through this process, my goal is to empower leaders to create meaningful change beyond the corporate sphere.
