India’s Diversity Job Fair 2024 & The DEI Conference 2024 – by Vividhataa is back in Mumbai. The event is scheduled for May 22 at The Club, Juhu, Mumbai from 9 am to 5 pm.
Building on Vividhataa’s legacy of connecting diverse talents with inclusive employers, this year’s event will thrive with a wider reach and an even stronger focus on building inclusive workplaces. It will include a diverse candidate pool comprising Womxn, People with Disabilities, LGBTQIA + Community, Women on a Career Break, Veterans and Marginalised Communities.
The event will be graced by a special guest of honour- Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil (He/Him)– Erstwhile Prince of Rajpipla, Chairman of Lakshya Trust with his partner DeAndre Richardson (He/Him) – Duke Hanumanteshwar, Champion of Diversity & Inclusion.
Followed by this keynote address, there will be sensitisation about Womxn Workforce, PwD Workforce, and LGBTQIA+ Workforce Orientation. Moving ahead, a significant session will be held for Diverse Candidate and Inclusive Employers that will feature a Presentation of the Interview Rooms Structure, Job Roles, Job Roles by Participating Inclusive Employers and an Introduction of Sign Language Interpreters.
Besides, 5 dynamic panel discussions will delve into critical DE&I topics.
- The opening session on Economic and Social Impact of Marriage Equality for LGBTQ+ will feature Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil (He/ Him), DeAndre Richardson (He/Him), Zainab Patel (She/Her) – Inclusion catalyst, Transgender Rights Advocate & Diversity Leader, and Zoya (They/ Them) – Diversity & Inclusion Leader, Godrej Properties Limited.
- The 2nd session on Media, Art & Journalism will be led by Ashish Sawhny (He/Him)- Film Director, Counsellor, Podcast Host, Shreya Patel (She/Her)- Model turned Actress, Filmmaker, Founder at Windows Dream Production, Mayura Saavi (She/Her) – Media and Development Professional & Independent Journalist, and Bao (They/ Them) – Illustrator, Graphic artist, and Design researcher.
- The 3rd session on Rights of People with Disabilities will have Disha Pandya (She/Her) – Founder of Little People of India, Dwarf Community Advocate & Paralympian, Armaan Ali (He/Him) – Executive Director, National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People, and Sweta Mantrii (She/Her) – Comedy Crusader and Inclusion Advocate.
- The 4th session on Veteran Transition and Reintegration will be led by Sqn Ldr Supriya Bhosale (She/Her) – Seasoned leader, Ex- Indian Air Force and Wing Commander Abhijit Gokhale (He/ Him) – Aviation Maverick: Wing Commander Abbee The Rebel.
- The 5th session will be a Fireside Chat with Madhumita Venkataraman (She/Her) – D&I Thought Leader and Certified Counsellor.
The event will also feature networking opportunities with top companies championing DE&I, Sign Language Workshop by Arti Umrotkar (She/Her) – Senior ISL Instructor at DISLI, High tea, Standup Comedy by Sweta Mantrii and concluded with Gala Dinner.
The above panels will be moderated by Vinnie Gollar (They/She) – DEI Speaker and Enthusiast trans and Queer Rights Activists, Rashi Goel (She/Her) – Consultant at Vividhataa, Certified Diversity Auditor, POSH Resource Person and Lt. Swapnil Mhatre (He/Him) – Senior Manager, Supply Chain, BPCL, Indian Army respectively.
