Diversity, equity, and inclusion are easier to write and talk about than to achieve. Vividhataa, a social entrepreneurship start-up, is enabling the later part. It is all set to launch the 5th edition of its pan-India campaign.
India’s Diversity Job Fair 2024 and The DEI Conference by Vividhataa is scheduled for May 22, 2024, from 9 am to 5 pm.
The job fair will include a diverse candidate pool comprising Womxn, Persons with Disabilities, LGBTQIA + Community, Women on a Career Break, Veterans and other Marginalised Communities. This event’s distinguished guest of honour is Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil, (He/Him), Chairman of Lakshya Trust with his partner DeAndre Richardson (He/Him) – Duke Hanumanteshwar, Champion of Diversity & Inclusion. They will join the esteemed panellists to discuss the economic and social impact of marriage equality for LGBTQIA+ community.
The DEI conference will be attended by corporate delegates – CXOs, HRs, DE&I professionals, students, researchers, experts, DE&I advocates, and activists from all over India. The event will commence with sensitisation about the people with disabilities (PwD) community, different types of disabilities, and challenges they face in the workplace along with the womxn workforce and conclude with the sensitisation about the LGBTQIA+ workforce.
It will be followed by 5 DEI panel discussions where you will hear from leading experts covering topics like the Economic and Social Impact of LGBTQIA+ Marriage Equality, Media & Journalism, Rights of People with Disabilities, and Veteran Transitions and Reintegration.
The event will also feature networking opportunities with top companies championing DE&I, Sign Language Workshop by Arti Umrotkar (She/Her), Senior ISL Instructor at DISLI, Fireside Chat with Madhumita Venkataraman (She/Her), D&I Thought Leader and Certified Counsellor, High tea, Standup Comedy by Sweta Mantri, Dialogue in the Dark, Awards & Recognition, Vote of Thanks, and concluded by a Gala Dinner.
