“The SureColor F2270 was purpose-built with a focus on industry trends, particularly the needs of print shops transitioning from mass production to on-demand manufacturing,” explained Tim Check, senior product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America, Inc. “With its ability to deliver high-quality output reliably and consistently, print shops can now create premium products designed to last for years. This not only reduces waste in the printing process but also ensures long-lasting quality in the garments.”
The SureColor F2270 hybrid printer, designed for both DTG and DTFilm printing, features the new PrecisionCore® MicroTFP printhead with Nozzle Verification Technology, along with the next-generation UltraChrome® DG2 ink. This combination enables vibrant colors, incredible detail, and impressive speeds—up to 20% faster when printing on dark garments.1 The printer’s cartridge-free bulk ink pack system reduces ink replacement frequency. With automatic garment thickness adjustment, the printer measures the thickness using multiple sensors during the loading process, creating a garment height profile. It then automatically adjusts the printhead and optimizes print quality without user intervention, boosting productivity and ensuring high-quality output.
Additional features that enhance versatility and efficiency in garment decoration, promotional product manufacturing, and e-commerce fulfillment include:
Low maintenance – Dedicated cleaning solution channels and a fabric head wiper system minimize downtime. Intuitive design – The flat top work surface can accommodate various items, and the large 4.3-inch touchscreen interface with well-placed control buttons enhances usability. Quick-load platen – Enables easy garment alignment and reduces loading times. User-friendly workflow – Epson Garment Creator 2 software offers improved processing time and high-resolution processing for detailed and vibrant prints. Epson Cloud Solution PORT2 – Provides live production monitoring of your printer fleet status, including production rates and printer utilization.
“In the end, getting prints right the first time saves time, money, and resources, and that’s precisely what the new SureColor F2270 aims to achieve,” added Check.
